‘Last Tree Standing’ is a 30 minute live action short film written/directed/produced and edited by Agnes Peel-McGregor.
It is a sequel to a supernatural thriller awarded by David Lynch in a scholarship competition titled MILKMAID – a short film that follows a milkmaid who forges a connection with the forest and becomes a medium for the forces of nature, seeking revenge on those who have committed a crime against it.
LAST TREE STANDING premiered at SITGES International Fantastic Film Festival, being only one of five shorts directed by a woman in Official Competition. To date, the film has won thirty awards on the festival circuit worldwide and from professional Guilds and Associations, including multiple wins for Best Film, Best Director and Best Screenplay. The film is a co-production between the United States, Australia and Poland.
Adrian of All Go Audio was invited to be a sound designer on the film, combining a mix of custom recordings, library editing & Foley works as required for the production.
